Alex Orgera
I’m Alex Orgera (she/her), a master’s-level clinician with a degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
My work focuses on trauma, grief, and abuse recovery through a creative and compassionate lens built on trust and transparency. I use expressive arts, writing, sound, movement, and role enactment to help clients explore and express experiences that are often hard to put into words. I’m also trained in EMDR, parts work, somatic embodiment, and focusing.
I’m deeply committed to affirming LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, immigrant, disability, and religious minority communities. Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and thoughtful.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting, writing, yoga, biking, and foraging with my family.
