Laura Guzy
I’m Laura Guzy, a master’s-level clinician and Licensed Professional Counselor with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University. I’m also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist through the Arizona Trauma Institute and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
I lead the Trauma IOP program for adults at Sanare’s Downingtown location. My passion is helping individuals heal from attachment wounds, trauma, dissociation, anxiety, and depression through a holistic and compassionate approach.
My work integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma-focused interventions, mindfulness, and somatic techniques. I am also trained in EMDR and incorporate it into individual sessions when it supports the healing process.
I believe that true healing happens in an environment rooted in safety, compassion, and empowerment. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their strength and inner stability so they can move forward with confidence and self-trust.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with my family and our rescue dog.
