Sophie Phillips
I’m Sophie Phillips (she/they), a master’s-level clinician with four years of experience that includes peer counseling for college students, support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and individual and group work with adolescents in both PHP and IOP levels of care. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Chester University.
I’m passionate about working with adolescents and the LGBTQ+ community, focusing on agency, curiosity, and compassion at every stage of growth. I integrate dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients manage challenges and navigate the systems around them.
I often bring creativity into sessions, using art, writing, music, movement, or other personal interests to help clients express and process emotions. I value every form of communication and celebrate the individuality of each person I work with.
Outside of work, I enjoy sewing, drawing, dancing, choreographing, and spending time with my cats.
