I want to start by giving you credit for taking this first step. Deciding to begin group therapy is not always an easy choice, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to explore what healing might look like for you. The fact that you are reading this tells me you are curious about discovering new supports and learning ways to manage life’s stressors more effectively.
My name is Samantha, and I am a licensed professional art therapist. I believe in the power of the creative process to promote healing, process emotions, and foster personal growth. I also believe that every person’s experience is unique, and I strive to create space for both verbal and nonverbal forms of expression to support you in meaningful ways.
In my group, you will learn techniques that are both supportive and enjoyable. We spend time practicing mindfulness, breathing exercises, and grounding strategies that help increase awareness and presence in the moment. These techniques can become valuable tools for managing emotions safely and staying connected to yourself when life feels overwhelming.
Group sessions also provide a chance to learn from others, build confidence, and experience the strength that comes from shared understanding. We celebrate progress, however small, and nurture a culture of mutual encouragement and compassion.
I want to give you credit once more for showing up for yourself in this way. You are not alone in this process, and I look forward to walking alongside you as you continue your journey toward healing and growth.
