Do you ever feel like you are fighting against yourself, even when you are trying to move forward? Worry, exhaustion, and self-doubt can make life feel heavier than it should. In group, we work on untangling those thoughts and building steadier ways to handle what comes your way.
Hi, I’m Athena (she/her), a pre-licensed professional counselor. I care deeply about helping people understand themselves and find steadier footing. Our groups are active, warm, and human. We might start with a question like “What’s your favorite comfort food?” or “If you could step into any book or movie, where would you go?” because laughter and curiosity often open doors that fear keeps closed.
Through Sanare’s Catalyst program, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, to help people revisit and reframe difficult experiences safely. This process can ease emotional weight and make space for calm and confidence to return.
If life feels stuck or too heavy to carry alone, you do not have to face it in silence. I would be glad to have you join us and see what begins to change when you give yourself that chance.
