Marissa Gleason
Many teens feel like no one truly understands what they are going through. In group, we work to change that. Together, they find a place where they can talk freely, feel seen, and realize they are not alone in what they carry.
I’m Marissa (she/her), a Master’s Level Clinician trained in counseling. My approach centers on honest conversation and helping teens make sense of what they think and feel. In group, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and actions connect, and how that awareness can shift the way they respond to everyday challenges.
We also keep space for light moments. Whether it’s a favorite show, a book, or a laugh shared in the middle of a hard topic, those moments remind us that therapy is not just serious work. It is real life, and it can include both growth and joy.
If your teen feels shut down or unsure where to start, this can be a place to begin again. I look forward to meeting them and seeing what opens up when they do.
