Carley Sweeney
Ever feel like your emotions are running the show and you are just along for the ride? You have done everything you can to hold it together, but now it might be time to understand what your body has been trying to say. In group, we slow things down to notice what is happening inside and learn how to steady it.
I’m Carley, a licensed social worker and adult PHP group therapist. My work draws from polyvagal theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. We also use elements of Internal Family Systems and narrative work to uncover the patterns that shape how you move through life.
My goal is to help you build compassion for the parts of yourself that have carried you this far, even when they feel heavy. Group is a place to bring those parts into the light, to see what they need, and to learn new ways of being.
You will find space here for honesty, creativity, and expression. Some days we dig deep; other days we breathe, laugh, or make sense of what just happened. Either way, you will not be doing it alone.
