Carley Sweeney
Ever feel like your emotions are running the show and you’re just along for the ride? You’ve done everything you can to hold it together, now it’s time to learn to actually feel safe inside your own body.
In group, we’ll slow things down so you can make sense of what’s happening inside. Together we’ll explore how your nervous system is trying to protect you and teach it how to feel safe again. We’ll lean into tools from polyvagal theory, ACT, and DBT to ground your body in the moment and go deeper with parts work (IFS) and narrative techniques to help you understand the patterns that keep showing up in your life.
I’m Carley, a licensed social worker and adult PHP group therapist. My approach is all about helping you build compassion for the parts of yourself that have gotten you this far, even if they don’t feel so helpful anymore.
Most importantly you won’t be doing this alone. In group we will grow together and support each other. I love bringing creativity, expressive arts, and curiosity into the room, whether we are working through the tough stuff or celebrating wins, big or small.
If you’re ready to feel more connected and more like you, I’d love to see you in group. I can’t wait to meet you!
