Catherine Wagner

Trauma Program & Licensing Supervisor • Outpatient Therapist • IOP Therapist, Trauma-Focused for Adults

I’m Catherine (she/her), a master’s-level counselor facilitating the IOP program for survivors of trauma in Havertown. I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and my bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College.

My background includes work as a certified sexual assault counselor, and I now bring a holistic, trauma-informed approach to every session. I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and I also integrate Parts Work, drawing from Internal Family Systems.

I specialize in PTSD, sexual assault counseling, depression, grief, and relationships, with a particular passion for supporting LGBTQ survivors and individuals from marginalized communities. My approach is collaborative and empowering, built on the belief that healing happens when people feel seen, respected, and supported as the experts of their own experience.

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, hiking, making music, exploring the city, and spending time with family and friends.
