Fatima Kanneh
I’m Fatima Kanneh, a master’s-level clinician who leads the evening adult Dialectical Behavior Therapy Outpatient program virtually in Havertown. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
I have experience working with adults in both PHP and IOP programs, providing therapy for anxiety, depression, and helping clients build structure alongside medication management providers. My areas of focus include depression, grief and loss, PTSD, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, and crisis management.
My approach combines DBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I work from a trauma-informed, person-centered perspective, helping clients identify what is standing in their way and develop the tools to move forward with steadiness and confidence. I also partner with families to strengthen support systems and promote lasting progress.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, reading vampire novels, and traveling. So far, I’ve visited ten countries and thirty-five states.
