Kitty McQuaid
You know those sessions where the therapist just nods while you talk? That’s not how I work.
I’m Kitty, and I bring structure, focus, and practical learning to every group. My approach centers on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, a method built on real skills that strengthen steadiness and relationships through active practice.
In our DBT groups, everyone takes part. You’ll learn skills, apply them to your experiences, and exchange insights with others who are working on similar goals. Over time, those moments of practice shift how you respond to challenges.
DBT gives you tools to take charge of what you can influence and to face what you cannot with steadiness and self-control. People often tell me, “Why don’t they teach this in school?” I ask the same question. These are the kinds of skills that make daily life feel more manageable, one decision at a time.
